Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and UMT GROUP LLC (“Review Hunter,” “we,” “us,” “our”). They govern your access to and use of Review Hunter’s websites, dashboards, QR/NFC flows, messaging features, software, integrations, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
2. The Services
Review Hunter provides tools to help businesses request customer feedback and reviews, including QR/NFC flows, messaging workflows, landing pages, dashboards, analytics, and integrations. Features may change over time. Some features may be in beta and provided “as is.”
3. Messaging Channels (SMS/WhatsApp/Viber/Email)
The Services may enable you to send messages to End Customers using third-party communication providers and networks, including: SMS/MMS, WhatsApp, Viber, and Email.
Delivery is not guaranteed
Message delivery can be delayed, filtered, limited, or blocked by carriers, providers, platform rules, device settings, or recipient preferences. We do not guarantee delivery rates, open rates, click rates, conversions, or review outcomes.
Channel-specific rules
WhatsApp and Viber may require business verification, template pre-approval, opt-in proofs, and additional policies. Email sending may require SPF/DKIM/DMARC and anti-spam compliance.
4. Template & Content Controls
To reduce spam and abuse, businesses may send messages only using: (a) our pre-approved templates, or (b) custom templates that pass our internal review.
We may reject, modify, or require changes to templates at any time, including to comply with provider/carrier/platform requirements. We may monitor sending patterns, enforce rate limits, and block content that violates these Terms.
5. Customer Consent & Compliance
You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate permissions, consents, and disclosures from End Customers before contacting them through any channel, including SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, and Email. This includes compliance with:
- Carrier/provider rules (including A2P / 10DLC where applicable)
- Telephone and messaging laws (e.g., TCPA in the U.S.)
- Email laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM in the U.S.)
- Applicable privacy laws and local regulations
- Platform rules (WhatsApp Business Policy, Viber policies, etc.)
Opt-outs
- SMS: where supported, recipients may opt out by replying
STOP. You must honor opt-outs. - Email: you must include and honor unsubscribe mechanisms as required by law.
- WhatsApp/Viber: you must comply with platform opt-out/stop rules and messaging windows.
We do not independently verify your consent. We may require proof of consent, details about your opt-in process, or other compliance information. Failure to provide it may result in restrictions or suspension.
6. Prohibited Content & Uses
You may not use the Services to send or facilitate content that is:
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonating another person/business;
- Harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory;
- Adult/sexual content, escort services, pornography, or explicit content;
- Related to illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or controlled substances;
- Weapons, explosives, or instructions for wrongdoing;
- Highly sensitive personal data requests (e.g., SSN, passports, financial account passwords);
- Medical claims, diagnosis, or regulated healthcare marketing without required compliance;
- Political campaigning or election influence messaging where restricted by law/platform;
- Spam or bulk marketing unrelated to feedback/reviews.
We may remove or block content, templates, or accounts that violate this section or partner/provider policies.
7. Integrations (Marketplaces, Shopify, WordPress, APIs)
Marketplace integrations
The Services may integrate with online marketplaces to trigger review requests after order events. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access marketplace data, export customer contact details, and contact customers under marketplace rules and applicable law.
Shopify and WordPress
The Services may integrate with Shopify and WordPress (including plugins) to trigger review requests, collect feedback, and display widgets or links. You are responsible for correct setup and compliance with platform policies and applicable law.
APIs, Webhooks, and third-party apps
If we provide APIs, webhooks, or connectors, you are responsible for your implementation, security of your API keys, and ensuring your systems do not misuse Customer Data. You must follow rate limits and security controls.
Integrations depend on third parties. We do not guarantee availability, continuity, or correctness of third-party APIs/platforms. Third parties may change, suspend, or discontinue access at any time.
8. Customer Data, Privacy & Roles (DPA Summary)
“Customer Data” means personal data or content that you upload, import, or otherwise provide to the Services, including phone numbers, emails, names, order identifiers, ratings, and feedback.
Data roles
- For Customer Data you submit: you are generally the controller (or “business”), and Review Hunter is a processor/service provider acting on your instructions, depending on applicable law.
- End Customers may submit feedback through flows. If an End Customer provides contact details for issue resolution, you (the business) may receive that information to respond.
Your obligations
- You represent you have the right to provide Customer Data to us and contact those individuals.
- You must provide required notices and obtain required consents (including for messaging).
- You must handle End Customer requests (access/deletion) as required; we will assist where reasonably possible.
Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
9. Security & Account Responsibility
You are responsible for securing your account, passwords, API keys, and integrations. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share accounts in a way that violates your plan limits or these Terms.
10. Support, Maintenance & Service Availability
We provide support primarily via email and/or in-app support channels. Response times are not guaranteed unless you have a paid plan that explicitly includes SLA terms.
The Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, provider outages, or factors outside our control. We may perform scheduled maintenance and emergency maintenance without notice when necessary.
11. Fees, Billing, and Taxes
Some features require payment. Fees, usage-based charges (including messaging fees), and billing terms will be shown at purchase or in your dashboard. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and governmental charges associated with your use of the Services.
12. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, design, trademarks, and content provided by us, are owned by Review Hunter and protected by law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services according to these Terms.
You retain ownership of your Customer Data and your business content, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the Services.
13. Feedback You Provide
If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the Services, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without compensation or obligation to you.
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we believe you violated these Terms, provider/carrier/platform policies, marketplace rules, or law, or if your use creates risk to recipients, carriers, platforms, our partners, or the Services.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, your license ends. We may retain certain records as required for compliance, fraud prevention, and honoring opt-out requests.
15. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee increased reviews, ratings, conversion rates, or revenue, and we do not guarantee message delivery, third-party platform availability, or integration uptime.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL REVIEW HUNTER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Review Hunter and its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services, (b) your messages and templates, (c) your Customer Data and integrations, (d) your violation of law, marketplace/platform rules, or provider/carrier policies, or (e) your breach of these Terms.
18. Governing Law; Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version and changing the Effective Date. Changes take effect upon posting unless stated otherwise. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

If you are an End Customer, your relationship for goods/services is with the business you visited or purchased from. Review Hunter provides tooling for feedback/review requests and does not control that business’s products, services, or conduct.
